No More War
To: Rep. McClintock
From: A constituent in El Dorado Hills, CA
March 7
I’m writing to say that I’m furious that the you voted against the War Powers Resolution. This is an illegal war with no end goals, no plan, and no support from American voters. This administration has tried several different rationales but none have made the case that war is the answer. It’s costing us $1 billion each day—meanwhile we can’t afford healthcare, electricity, or rent. At a minimum the members of our military deserve to know what they are risking their lives for. Do you know? If so, please respond in detail.
I want Congress to vote on another war powers resolution to exert Congress’s constitutional authority over military conflict and refuse to pass any supplemental funding for this unauthorized military action. No more War!
