I urge you to vote against any legislation that further integrates the United States with Israel’s military or expands long-term defense commitments. The American people deserve a government that answers to its own citizens, not one that places the interests of any foreign government above those of the United States. Our foreign policy should be determined by the Constitution, Congress, and the American people. We do not want our sons, daughters, husbands, wives, sisters, brothers, friends, or neighbors placed at greater risk of deployment in support of a war that has been determined to be a genocide by Amnesty International and United Nations experts. Regardless of political affiliation, Americans should not be expected to bear the ethical or financial costs of becoming more deeply entangled in a genocidal nation. Congress has a duty to their constituents. Not personal feelings of individual Senators. Expanding defense integration with any foreign nation risks reducing that independence and increasing the likelihood of future American involvement in conflicts that Congress and the public do not support. I ask you to reject legislation that deepens military integration with Israel and instead support policies that prioritize diplomacy, civilian protection, congressional oversight, and the interests of the American people. Please represent your constituents, not foreign governments or special interests. Vote no on further U.S.-Israel military integration.
