The Constitution explicitly states in Article II, Section 4 that the President "shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."
The House of Representatives holds the sole constitutional power of impeachment. This is not a discretionary power - the Constitution's use of "shall" creates a binding obligation to act when evidence of impeachable offenses exists.
The House has historically exercised this solemn duty, having initiated impeachment proceedings more than 60 times throughout our nation's history. This includes the previous impeachments of President Trump in 2019 and 2021. As my representatives, I demand that you file articles of impeachment and vote to convict him of the charges.
You are obligated as a representative of the people to file new articles of impeachment for bribery, specifically for accepting a plane from Qatar. The White House and Pam Bondi state that it is not a bribe, but their assessment cannot be trusted. They lie in service of empowering Trump as an infallible dictator and do so more often than they breathe. The impeachment power serves as a critical constitutional check, designed specifically to address "misconduct of public men" and "abuse or violation of some public trust," and it is a vital process in maintaining the fidelity of our government.
The Framers explicitly included bribery as one of only two specifically enumerated impeachable offenses, alongside treason, highlighting its severity as a violation of public trust.
I demand that you fulfill your constitutional obligations by thoroughly investigating these serious allegations through formal impeachment proceedings. This process is fundamental to maintaining the integrity of our democratic institutions and ensuring accountability at the highest levels of government.
Thank you for your service and thank you in advance for doing what is right: impeaching and removing Donald John Trump from the office of President of the United States.
