Have you ever been to Chiricahua National Monument? If not, you likely do not know that a camper must drive 70 miles round trip to get a new block of ice for his cooler? There is absolutely no civilization around there. And guess what? That’s why we’ve been camping there in a tent for over 40 years. You are destroying a natural gem with the ill-conceived idea of national parking it. Shame.
