I am aghast that you are even considering commuting Tina Peters' sentence! And here I thought you were a friend of the rule of law and democracy! How can you possibly consider this? Why don't you go ahead and just invite ice into Colorado? If you do this, this will be your legacy! You contributed to the dictator. Donald Trump's lies about the 2020 election. You know that he will use this to the max! He will use it to tell his maga followers that you caved! That this proves that the 2020 election was truly stolen! And, if you do this, it will just reinforce what Trump is already doing that breaking the law, especially on behalf of a dictator, has no consequences! The states are the only places where we can fight back against the autocracy of the Trump administration! Don't surrender to autocracy and authoritarianism voluntarily! Don't don't, don't don't! You have not stood as strong as you could have against Trump's authoritarianism. This would be a total capitulation! Don't make trumpism your legacy!
