Now that the Supreme Court has upheld Trump's right to use the Alien Enemies Act to send people out of the country, I must insist that you stand up for the official vetting process that needs to happen with everyone convicted of a crime in this country. The right to due process is one guaranteed by our Constitution to every person. It has been shown that nearly 75% of those sent to El Salvador had not been convicted of a crime. And for most who were convicted of something, the crime was minor such as possession of weed years ago. Trump must be held accountable to follow the law and not be allowed to use other people as political pawns. We all want dangerous criminals to be held accountable, but we must make sure they ARE dangerous criminals first!
