On 9/11 I was attending a WV House Legislature Committee Meeting at the Capitol. We were evacuated from the Capitol quickly, but it was a long and scary ride back to my home in Logan, not know ing what was happening to my country. My refuge and my sanity came from listening to the excellent reporting of WV Public Broadcasting. They were my constant companions on that momentous day, just as they were on most days that I traveled. Please restore the funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Rural areas need access to radio services too.
