Why are A.I. companies legally allowed to harvest and repurpose copyrighted art, text, and music without consent from or payment to the creators and copyright holders? This goes against all legal precedents and social norms. I'm sick of being trampled underfoot but a repugnant industry just because the people at the top decided it's the future and that it's going to make them all richer. A.I. hit us hard and fast and Congress hasn't lifted a finger to regulate this rapid violation of our rights. I'm sick of waiting around for you to care about the people who create all of the art and entertainment that fill the world with joy and meaning.
