Remove Russell Vought—His Open Hostility Toward Federal Workers Violates His Oath of Office I am writing to demand the immediate removal of Russell Vought from any public-facing role in our federal government, including his involvement in Project 2025, DOGE, or any future Trump-aligned government planning. Vought has made it crystal clear that his goal is to abuse federal workers. In his own words: “We want the bureaucrats to be traumatically affected… We want them to not want to go to work… We want to put them in trauma.” —Russell Vought, Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and architect of Project 2025 Let’s be clear: this is not rhetoric. It is a declared strategy to create a hostile work environment so extreme that it violates federal labor law, civil service protections, and most importantly, the oath of office to “faithfully execute” the laws of this nation. Vought is not trying to improve government—he is trying to dismantle it through psychological warfare against the very people who keep it running. That is radical, unlawful, and dangerous. No employee—public or private—should be subjected to a campaign of trauma as official policy. Vought’s continued involvement in federal planning is an attack on the integrity of the civil service and on the Constitution itself. Congress must act to: 1. Investigate Vought’s statements and intentions. 2. Bar him from any future government role under ethics, labor, and constitutional grounds. 3. Pass legislation that explicitly protects civil servants from targeted ideological purges like those proposed under Project 2025 and DOGE. The federal workforce is not the enemy. They are Americans who serve with dedication and professionalism. Targeting them for abuse is not governance—it’s authoritarianism in disguise. Do your duty.
