We do not allow others to control a free press. Say it with me- we do not allow others to control a free press. A controlled press is not a free press. Again. A controlled press is not a free press. The first amendment requires freedom of speech. Media that is censored due to government pressure on the FCC is not free speech. It is government approved propaganda. It cannot be allowed to continue. Trump does not control the media. Trump cannot control the messaging. While WE THE PEOPLE realize that completely objective and unfettered reporting is an unlikely goal- all persons have convictions, and all persons have opinions- at the very least, it should be as unbiased as possible. Allowing Trump to “cancel” journalists or even networks based on his emotional outbursts is the single most unAmerican thing possible. If he controls the press, he controls the narrative. If he controls the narrative, he controls the vote. Demand immediate action against censorship and media sanctions. Free press should be FREE!
