Demand Immediate Release of Epstein Files and End Protection of Predators
To: Sen. Curtis, Rep. Maloy, Sen. Lee
From: A constituent in Salt Lake City, UT
December 18
I am writing to demand you take immediate action on the Justice Department's release of the Epstein files. House Speaker Mike Johnson sent Congress home the day before the deadline for full release, and this calculated absence is a transparent attempt to avoid accountability.
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has already called out this cowardice for what it is: a deliberate effort to dodge questions about attempts to delay or suppress information. Previous releases have shown photos of Jeffrey Epstein with Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Woody Allen, and Noam Chomsky. The American people have a right to know everything about these connections and what crimes may have been committed or covered up.
This is not how innocent people behave. When elected officials orchestrate absences to avoid answering questions about the exploitation of children, they are complicit in protecting predators. Your silence or inaction on this matter will be interpreted exactly as it should be: as protection of powerful pedophiles over justice for their victims.
I am demanding you take an immediate public position calling for the complete and unredacted release of all Epstein files. I am demanding you support a full investigation into why Congress was sent home at this exact moment and who coordinated this obstruction. I am demanding you choose a side: the victims of these horrific crimes, or the powerful men who committed them.
Your constituents will not forget how you respond. We will not forget if you protected pedophiles through your silence or your complicity. The victims deserve justice. The public deserves transparency. Act now, or be remembered as someone who chose to protect child predators when it mattered most.
