mRNA technology is some of the coolest, most powerful, most promising scientific developments of the past decade. They are being investigated to help with cancers, autoimmune diseases, M.S., stroke recovery, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, and high cholesterol. That our HHS director should choose now to pull back funding from development is ludicrous, and will further hobble the US’s future scientific relevance.
