Hermandorfer does not represent judicial independence—she represents a calculated effort to stack the courts with ideologues who will carry out Trump’s political agenda for decades. Here’s why her confirmation is dangerous: • She currently leads Tennessee’s Strategic Litigation Unit, filing lawsuits to undermine reproductive rights, LGBTQ protections, and federal labor laws. • Her legal philosophy promotes expanding presidential power and dismantling independent oversight agencies, aligning closely with the goals of Project 2025. • At just 37, she would hold a lifetime seat on the federal bench—shaping national civil rights and labor decisions for generations. • She’s replacing a moderate Obama appointee, shifting the Sixth Circuit even further toward partisan imbalance. The courts are supposed to be impartial guardians of the Constitution—not battlegrounds for political agendas. Hermandorfer’s record makes clear she is not fit to serve.
