I'm writing to ask that you create a Maryland specific law ( like H.R. 7955, the BETS OFF Act) that will regulate prediction markets and block insider trading. Political wagering on prediction market platforms can be easily abused, and restrictions must be enacted to stop government insiders from manipulating political events for personal profit. Please write a law specifically for Maryland to regulate these companies. Thank you for your time and consideration.
