Please weigh in to the state health department that they should receive public comment and seek expertise from Florida physicians about school vaccine requirements. The upcoming Panama Beach meeting is not accessible to most Floridians. The health department plans not to read emails sent about the topic but instead decide based on minimal evidence at this meeting. Our current surgeon general in Florida has medical credentials but is not meeting the standard of care nor practicing evidence-based medicine. We need vaccine requirements for school children to prevent disease outbreaks. I am happy to provide more information to you and others.
