I just saw that the City of Philadelphia has introduced legislation to limit ICE in the city. -ICE can't be masked, must have ID visible, must have arrested warrants signed by federal judges. If found to violate this, there will be immediate legal consequences including arrest and/ or jail time. -They can't attack people. If they can't do this, they will be arrested. I ask that you immediately put together this new legislation for our state, especially our "blue" cities before ICE swams and attacks out people. In addition, I would like you to add the following: - if there is an attack, especially murder, the LOCAL jurisdiction investigates with the support of the FBI( if requested) and the ICE/ DHS employee will be immediately on desk duty until the investigation( and subsequent trial if required) is completed. If found to violate this, there will be immediate legal consequences including arrest and/ or jail time. - ICE agents and their vehicles must be CLEARLY marked . They cannot just wear a vest that says " police" - ICE/DHS employees are NOT allowed to deploy "non lethals," flash bangs, smoke, chemicals, or LRAD at anyone at this point. If found to violate this, there will be immediate legal consequences including arrest and/ or jail time. - ICE/ DHS agents are not allowed to scan your face, phone, or vehicle without a judicial warrant. If found to violate this, there will be immediate legal consequences including arrest and/ or jail time. We need to stop going high when they go Low and twiddle our thumbs and say prayers. Make clear, transparent, and enforceble laws to protect the innocent people of America, including Immigrants. Make these laws in all those were were lost to this fascist regime.
