As I'm sure you know, six federal prosecutors in Minnesota have now resigned over the Justice Department's investigation of the widow of the woman who ICE murdered last week and the Department's refusal to investigate the murderer. The American people are outraged at the senseless murder of Ms. Good, but we are also every bit as outraged at the lies, gaslighting, and defaming of Ms. Good's character that are coming out of the Trump administration. Again, the Trump administration goes after the victims, not the perpetrators. Ms. Good and her wife had whistles. ICE had guns. Ms. Good and her wife are not domestic terrorists. They are not part of a large criminal organization. But you know this already. IF there needs to be an investigation into the murder in broad daylight of a woman by an ICE thug, then the investigation must be credible. Clearly, the Trump administration's handling of the case is not credible, as evidenced by the resignation of prosecutors. Everyone who has seen the videos of the murder KNOWS that there is no validity to the Trump administration's claims. We are disgusted and appalled at the Trump administration's handling not just of the unjust murder, but at the defaming of Ms. Good's character and the lies they immediately spouted without any proof within minutes of the murder. Congress, if you continue to allow Trump and his goons to murder us, shoot at us, harass us, and threaten and terrorize us and then LIE and gaslight us, then you are in collusion with that administration. We are watching, Congress. If you all refuse to take action against Noem, ICE, Trump, Vance, and the rest of the despicable idiots in Trump's administration, then we will know that you are fine with our country becoming under a fascist rule. We are watching. No one is safe. Congress, what you do matters.
