An Open Letter

I’m writing to make one thing absolutely clear: your decision to release Tina Peters was reckless, irresponsible, and every single thing she does from this moment forward is on you. You didn’t just open the door — you unleashed someone who has already proven she is willing to destabilize elections and undermine the rule of law.
And now we’re seeing exactly what everyone warned you about.
Peters and her attorney are openly talking about seizing ballots nationwide and preparing for civil conflict if the midterms don’t go their way. Her attorney literally said it would be “better if we’re going to have a civil war… that it would be martial law with our side in control of the armaments.” That is not speculation. That is not rumor. That is not fringe chatter. That is a convicted election criminal proposing a civil war strategy after you helped set her free.
You knew who she was.
You knew what she had already done.
You knew she was dangerous.
And you released her anyway.
So let me be perfectly clear:
If she continues spreading lies, that’s on you.
If she encourages violence, that’s on you.
If she pushes this country toward civil conflict, that’s on you.
If she damages election integrity again, that is 100% your responsibility.
You don’t get to pretend you didn’t know. You don’t get to act surprised. You don’t get to distance yourself from the consequences. You made this decision, and Colorado will remember exactly who enabled her.
You own every bit of what comes next.
