Trump's Hateful Rhetoric Crosses a Line & Deminishes the Office of President

Donald Trump intensified his anti-Muslim rhetoric against Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed on Sunday, portraying him as a threat to national security. The president also questioned his loyalty to the United States in remarks that drew a sharp rebuke from a former top Arab American ally. Trump called El-Sayed, a former Detroit health official, a “jihadist” who was “on the side of the terrorists” and would “have to go through a metal detector before he’s allowed to go into the Senate.” He also repeatedly invoked 9/11, drawing a comparison between stopping El-Sayed from entering the Senate chamber and the passengers who fought back against the hijackers aboard United Flight 93, AP reported. Dr. El-Sayed is a highly educated, empathetic, upstanding memer of his community. He was born and raised in America, and to have his own President attack him in this manner is dangerous and unacceptable! There must be lines the POTUS doesn't cross! And lets not forget, this is the same President who is happy to cozy up to Qatar in order to get a free plane. This is the same President who has copied up to Mohamed Bin Salman of Saudi Arabia because of his and his family's financial interests. Trump is a vile human, using hate to divide our country, while cozying up to the same people he supposedly considers a threat to our nation when it's beneficial to him. It is time to stop backing an unhinged, hateful, bigoted President. Trump is a disgrace, and unfit for his office.
