To my Republican representative: As new Hungarian President Magyar is sworn in despite the attempts of Trump and Vance to advocate for the reelection of fascist Orban, you should learn from this moment. Even there, where the system had been wholly rigged against democracy, the people voted and won, and the anti-democracy right wing lost. You will too. There is still time for you to cut your losses with Trump. Impeach him. Abandon the highly unpopular reconciliation bill funding ICE/CBP and the ballroom. Because we stand ready to peacefully protest and to vote. Your gerrymandering efforts will be wasted. We will vote you out of office.
