I am writing to express my concern and disgust regarding the recent executive order freezing all federal grants. It is a blatant attempt to undermine our societal institutions at the expense of our most vulnerable. This is an attack on medicine, on research, on the working class, and on the good of your constituents. As an elected representative, you have a duty to stand up for us. I am urging you to take action in stopping the freeze, and help to overturn the dismantling of federal support.
