I am writing to implore you to vote No against confirmations of RFK, Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Kash Patel, and Russel Vought. Each of these people stand ready in terrifying ways to visit horrific destabilization and ultimately a fundamentally complete destruction of our democracy, which is already under way. Your party is intent on terrorizing the American people, eroding our constitutional rights at alarming speed, and promising to visit disaster of many kinds upon so many of us. I truly never could have imagined that I’d live to see a day when the leaders of this country - hand-in-hand with corporations and oligarchs, foreign adversaries to democratic systems, nationalist-bigoted-religious zealots, and actual felons and predatory criminals - in order to enrich and empower themselves at the cost of the constitutional, most basic human rights of every other person existing. You would destroy everything our country aspired to be since its founding for your own gain. Please do not be that person. Please do not let this be your mark upon history. A great many real people are going to pay the price with their very lives if you don’t endeavor to change course, with all you have. Who do you serve in this? I am begging you. Please do not give these incredibly undeserving, dangerous, unqualified people more power against the American people. Please vote no.
