Stop the national guard deployments NOW

To: Sen. Graham, Rep. Clyburn, Sen. Scott

From: A constituent in Charleston, SC

August 25, 2025

I’m furious that Trump sent the National Guard into DC and is threatening to send them into other Blue cities as well. Not only is this racist and a huge waste of taxpayer dollars, but it’s dictator-like behavior. I shouldn’t have to remind my representatives that we are a free country. Not a dictatorship. Not a military oligarchy. The Senator took an oath to uphold the Constitution. Unless that oath meant nothing to them they need to fight back. Now. Thanks.
