The harm done to children by Republican policies is profound. WHERE IS THE HUMANITY? One charter high school n Minneapolis has reported attendance dropping by 50% since three of their students were detained by ICE. A school bus was filled with tear gas on the way home from school because ICE was conducting aggressive enforcement so close to schools and kids got caught up in the violence. Five year old Liam Ramos was released with his father, but two other children from his school were detained last week. KIDS being detained by ICE means immigrant families are afraid to leave their homes. The impact of this cruelty will reach far and wide. We need common sense guardrails and schools should be safe places for children and families. This is America! Protect what makes us great.
