Election Won, What's next
To: Sen. Kim, Sen. Booker
From: A constituent in Plainfield, NJ
November 4
I'm so happy and hopeful after last night's election results. I feel we're in a better place but I fear what we want is being ignored. So many new voters came out to help save our country. We all need to understand why so we don't make them regret their vote and become disengaged again. That being said I don't think the status quo is going to cut it. I've been saying for months Schumer is no longer up to the task at hand. I can't help but think that Nixon in Florida may have won her seat if she had been supported by the DNC. So thinking that Schumer has a handle on the candidates is wrong. I've also spoken with many voters, and have seen posts online, of people who agree with me. We need to tackle affordability and hold individuals accountable. I don't have faith in Schumer and his ability to get this done. We need a new leader. Thank you for your service and please continue to work for and listen to your constituents.
