As I read the morning news, I see Trump has conducted strikes on Iran's bridges, energy sites, and tower at a key port.
As I understand it, intentionally striking a country's infrastructure during a war goes against international law and is considered a war crime.
What the actual heck are we doing here?!
First the Department of Defense, under Pete Hegseth amd at Trump's direction, illegally strike boats that may or may not be running drugs. The Department has also conducted double taps on these boats. Oh, and did I mention these are not boats in US waterways?!
The Trump starts an illegal war with Iran and starts conducting war crimes here as well.
It is no wonder Marco Rubio is desperate to dismantle the International Criminal Court. It is no wonder the US doesn't participate in the ICC.
Congress must stop these attacks and hold the people making these decisions, and those carrying out the orders, accountable under the law.
