Federal Government is a Rogue state. States must push back.

To: Sen. Pazina, Assembly Member Jauregui

Hello, The United States has invaded a sovereign nation without Congressional approval and has violated international law. The President’s press conference clearly stated this was a strike to gain control of the country for its oil. Venezuela was not a threat to the United States. While Venezuelan leader Maduro was illegitimate and a dictator, this action is unconstitutional. This is the latest in a long year of unconstitutional and illegal actions. As state representatives, you have the ability to resist authoritarianism at the federal level. My asks: Make a statement on the Interstate Anti-Corruption Compact, given the Federal actions in Venezuela and rampant corruption. Review these frameworks for resistance at the state level: https://cmarmitage.substack.com/p/we-dont-need-more-lawsuits-we-need https://cmarmitage.substack.com/p/one-election-actually-could-save https://substack.com/@chrisarmitage1/p-178504636 The time for action is now. We don’t have any more time to pretend any of this is normal. Authoritarians almost never get voted out of office after they assume power.
