Hello, The United States has invaded a sovereign nation without Congressional approval and has violated international law. The President’s press conference clearly stated this was a strike to gain control of the country for its oil. Venezuela was not a threat to the United States. While Venezuelan leader Maduro was illegitimate and a dictator, this action is unconstitutional. This is the latest in a long year of unconstitutional and illegal actions. As state representatives, you have the ability to resist authoritarianism at the federal level. My asks: Make a statement on the Interstate Anti-Corruption Compact, given the Federal actions in Venezuela and rampant corruption.
