When my mother moved to Montana in her eighties to be near me, she was feeble. There were many things she could no longer do, but one thing she could do, and do, that she did proudly, was vote.
It was easy to get her registered to vote at her new address, and easy for her to follow the political issues she cared about, weigh the information and then vote her conscience by mail.
I’ve lived in Montana for 30 years and in all that time I’ve never heard any evidence of widespread voter fraud. Montanans value representative government. They vote regularly and easily. I don’t always agree with the outcomes of elections but I am always proud of our civic process. We do things right!
That’s why I am very concerned about the SAVE Act.
Thousands of Montanans—including many like my mother—will not be able to vote if the SAVE Act passes. Please vote against the SAVE Act, protect our access to voting.
