Thank you for taking the time to respond to me about your stance on the budget reconciliation process. However you failed to explain who among us will be affected by this bill in your response. Which makes me think you haven’t actually looked at the bill and considered what it actually does for your constituents. Other Republican representatives in other states are saying it will cut Medicaid to 7.6 million people but based on provisions in the bill that will prevent those removed from it from accessing ACA - more people will be without healthcare. So if you are saying it won’t affect medicaid then I would like you to please highlight the sections in it that you say don’t affect medicaid and send those to me. I would like you to explain how the bill works before i believe that it won’t affect Idahoans access. Furthermore you say you are for fiscal sanity but can you tell me what you are doing to reign in the excess spending of the current administration? The ICE raids and operations since the latest government have taken office have bloated exponentially, the parade the president wants to throw would cost us taxpayers millions. The presidents trips to Mar-a-lago on the regular cost us taxpayers millions. The new plane he was gifted is estimated to cost billions to retrofit it for Airfare One. How is this spending acceptable to you but national park funding, social security spending, and other vital services to your constituents is what needs to be cut? I want you to explain in great detail what you are doing to stop that wasteful spending?? And how the excess spending the president is doing is fiscally sane. Also what tax hikes are you preventing? Because all I see in the budget are tax breaks for corporations and it looks like lower income Idahoans are going to spend more on taxes. So what exactly are you working on preventing? I would like actual details on what you are doing instead of empty promises that don’t seem to be doing anything for Idaho constituents. Also again I would like all of this explained to myself and other Idahoans before you actually vote on this bill. We should know ALL the things that affect us before you vote on this.
