You do realize that every human being born in the history of our species had ZERO choice in picking their skin color or parents! It doesn't matter how you were conceived, you still didn't have a choice of your DNA, skin color, birth country or your parents. You could have easily been born with darker skin, growing up in a country thousands of miles away, and been taught a language that had different symbols and pronunciations than English. You had NO CHOICE in what you looked like! So, why would you support a president and cabinet that consciously chooses to profile innocent people based on their skin color? Their only crime was to be born! Why would you choose to support a president and cabinet that has no regard for equality, human rights or decency? We are all humans. Most of us want the same thing...to exist in harmony, to love our family and neighbors, to learn, experience happiness, become prosperous, feel safe, be respected and to become part of something larger than we are. The only conclusion I can fathom as to why you allow this racial hatred to continue, to support a framework that suppresses anyone who doesn't look like you, is that you are RACIST and support FASCISM. Sorry to say it, but it's true. And for that, you will be forever known as those Iowa elected officials that allowed the festering of a racial and human rights cancer, all at the expense of other skin types. There is no other conclusion. P.S. In case you forgot what Racism and Fascism mean, here are the definitions: RACISM is prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group. FASCISM is a political system led by a dictator who controls the lives of people in a country, with the government controlling all aspects of society and the economy. Opposition is not permitted and is often violently suppressed. Key characteristics include extreme nationalism, a belief in the nation or race being superior, and the suppression of individual rights in favor of the state.
