Accountability at home must come before aggression abroad.

The rush toward military confrontation with Iran appears less like a necessity and more like a convenient distraction from unresolved questions surrounding Donald Trump’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Recently released records and ongoing reviews by the Justice Department show that documents containing allegations involving Trump may have been withheld or remain under investigation, leaving the public without full transparency. While these allegations remain contested and unproven, the American people deserve clear answers. Instead, public attention is repeatedly diverted toward foreign conflicts and dramatic security narratives. This pattern erodes democratic accountability by shifting scrutiny away from matters of public trust and potential misconduct. Launching or escalating conflict abroad while serious domestic questions remain unanswered risks appearing less like leadership and more like misdirection. Before committing American lives and resources to another war, our government must provide full transparency regarding the Epstein files and any connections involving public officials. Accountability at home must come before aggression abroad.
