Dear Republicans in Congress, When did you stop standing for independent thought, the rule of law, loyalty to the Constitution, freedom of choice/expression, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion? When did you stop caring about saving lives, having a strong economy, standing for basic morality, fighting for justice for victimsof sex trafficking? When did allowing ICE and CBP to hurt and kill American citizens become acceptable? When did supporting White Nationaist, and J6 domestic terrorists become the norm? When did you quit caring about basic human rights? Your party no longer supports any common sense action. Your party represent your own interests over those of the people you are supposed to represent. You don’t have empathy or love for your neighbors, especially if they dare to look or believe differently than you. You do whatever Trump tells you to do, despite it not aligning with what you used to claim were your own values. Even after all of Trump lies, crimes, injustices, and utter disregard for the Constitution, you align yourself with him. Republicans in Congress have shown us they are corrupt amd their loyalty is misplaced. Republicans in Congress have shown that they do not care about Americans, our freedom, or the basic concepts of humanity. As far as I can see, Republicans do not have a shred of morals decency. You collectively lost all legitimacy as a party when you traded your loyalty to the Constitution and the American people for loyalty to Trump.
