STOP the Executive Branch from claiming unconstitutional judicial authority.
To: Sen. Kaine, Rep. Kiggans, Sen. Warner
From: A constituent in Virginia Beach, VA
February 20
I am especially concerned about the bullet “The President and the Attorney General (subject to the President’s supervision and control) will interpret the law for the executive branch, instead of having separate agencies adopt conflicting interpretations.”
This appears to be a way for the President to provide unlawful interpretations of the laws passed by Congress and the interpretations of the law by the judicial branch.
This is blatantly unconstitutional. The Executive Branch needs to be checked immediately. Will you speak up for all Americans about how this is wrong and provide leadership on how to organize around a unified message that we will not allow the Executive branch to have unchecked power?
What are you doing to preserve our constitution? Please respond in writing.
