ICE is amok. Recent atrocities have shone light on abuses of power by Immigration and Customs Enforcement and its parent agency Customs and Border Protection: The terrorizing of immigrant communities, unconstitutional border, check points, families, torn apart, and children/adults traumatized, and horribly inhumane conditions in for-profit detention facilities. The killing of Renee Good in Minneapolis has stopped me in my tracks, realizing it could have been me or my friends who exercise the right to protest, observe, and take risks to support and preserve democracy. It is unconscionable that YOU might vote for BILLIONS in additional funding for this! with very little oversight with regard to human rights and dignity, constitutional process, and respect for the world reputation of our country. Stop this!!
