The House recently passed a horrendous bill that would require educators to share private information about transgender students with their parents, even if the students know their safety would be at risk. This is abhorrent. School should be a safe space for all students. A person's gender identity has no bearing on their value, intelligence, or morality. However, many people seem to think otherwise. Sharing this personal information with untrusted adults could put children's safety at risk. I am begging you to vote AGAINST this bill, and protect children the way you claim to want to do.
