As your constituent, I am profoundly disappointed by your vote - especially in light of the public comments you have made regarding your support of Medicare and SNAP. The bill you voted "Yes" to slashes Medicaid, guts SNAP, defunds education and climate programs, and protects tax breaks for billionaires and giant corporations. Your subsequent celebration of this destructive bill further called into question any genuineness of your previous statements. While working families struggle with childcare costs, housing, and healthcare, you voted for a budget that would leave seniors without care, kids without meals, and communities without critical services. These are not the "Virginia values" of which you have spoken. Again: profoundly disappointed and will not be forgotten.
