Please Vote NO on the SAVE Act and No Rogue Rulings Act
To: Rep. Carey
From: A constituent in Columbus, OH
April 9
I am writing to urge you to vote against both the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act and the No Rogue Rulings Act.
The SAVE Act risks creating unnecessary barriers for eligible voters, especially married women, naturalized citizens, and older Americans who may lack access to specific documents. There is no widespread evidence of noncitizens voting in federal elections, and this bill would impose new bureaucratic hurdles that disenfranchise real voters under the guise of election security.
Likewise, the No Rogue Rulings Act would dangerously undermine the authority of the federal judiciary. Nationwide injunctions—used by both conservative and liberal judges—serve as a crucial check on unlawful executive actions. Stripping courts of this power would weaken our constitutional balance.
As your constituent, I ask you to reject both bills and stand up for voting rights and judicial independence. These proposals are not about protecting democracy—they’re about limiting it.
I hope you’ll consider the long-term consequences of these actions and choose to uphold the Constitution and the rights of the people you represent.
