Thank you for cosponsoring and passing HR 2550, the Protect America’s Workforce Act. I am a federal employee in the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Trump administration is trying to strip federal workers of our collective bargaining rights. The negative impact on the morale of dedicated civil servants is hard to overstate. Thank you for supporting the labor rights of nonpartisan civil service employees, including healthcare workers like me who care for our nation’s veterans. I know the Senate is now taking up their version of the bill with bipartisan support. I am hopeful for its passage; once it passes, please commit to enforcing the law and protecting the rights of federal workers like me. Thank you.
