Stop Epstein Coverup, DO NOT Free Maxwell
To: Rep. Harris
From: A constituent in Locust, NC
August 8
I am writing as your constituent to urge you to take immediate action regarding the ongoing handling of the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell cases. Recent developments—including Ms. Maxwell’s transfer to a minimum-security prison camp—raise serious concerns about preferential treatment and the erosion of public trust in our justice system.
The victims of Epstein’s trafficking network have waited far too long for full accountability. Instead, they continue to see delays, secrecy, and political maneuvering that protect the powerful rather than the vulnerable. It is unacceptable that grand jury transcripts, investigative files, and related evidence remain sealed while survivors are sidelined.
I am calling on you to:
1. Petition for the immediate release of all Epstein-related records, with redactions only to protect survivor identities.
2. Publicly oppose any pardon or clemency for Ghislaine Maxwell and make your position clear before such an action is considered.
3. Advocate for congressional oversight hearings into the DOJ and FBI’s handling of these cases, ensuring decisions are guided by law and survivor input—not political expedience.
This is not a partisan issue. It is a moral one. Every day these files remain sealed sends the message that justice is negotiable for the wealthy and connected. Every act of leniency toward convicted traffickers deepens survivor trauma and undermines faith in our institutions.
Your constituents deserve to know where you stand. The victims deserve to see the truth brought to light in their lifetimes. And the public deserves a justice system that is transparent, consistent, and resistant to political interference.
Please make your position on these matters public and take concrete steps to ensure that the Epstein files are released, that survivors’ voices are prioritized, and that no one is above the law.
