Rhetoric invites escalation, normalizes violence & puts Americans at risk

When a sitting president suggests that the “complete destruction” of a nation would be a “good” outcome, you are no longer dealing with strategy—you are confronting recklessness.
Donald Trump has already threatened to “obliterate” Iran’s infrastructure and issued ultimatums that risk spiraling retaliation across the region. Framing mass devastation as desirable signals a dangerous detachment from the human, legal, and geopolitical consequences of war.
This rhetoric invites escalation, normalizes catastrophic violence, and puts American lives at greater risk.
If Congress does not intervene now, you are not passive observers—you are enabling the conditions for irreversible catastrophe.
