As your constituent, I plea with you to support an arms embargo on Israel. The United States has been complicit in the violence inflicted upon the Palestinians, Lebanese, and Iranians through our providing weapons. We can stop this madness by using our influence as leverage. The Democratic base, your voters, have had it with the impunity the party has allowed Israel to have through our foreign policy. People will not trust politicians who are still defending Israel given the atrocities their government has committed. In good conscience, I cannot and will not support any Democrat who supports sending weapons to Israel and I know I am not alone on this.
