The Big Beautiful Bill Adds Trillions, Guts Healthcare, Rewards the Rich
To: Sen. Scott, Sen. Moody, Rep. Bean
From: A constituent in Yulee, FL
June 30
congress I’m a middle‑class Floridian deeply concerned about the so‑called “One Big Beautiful Bill” (OBBBA) being rushed through the Senate. While touted as a sweeping tax‑cut and military spending package, the bill:
• 🌪 Adds $3+ trillion to the debt—on top of an already $36 trillion national debt—according to the nonpartisan CBO .
• Slashes Medicaid and SNAP, risking health coverage for millions and gutting rural hospitals .
• Sticks it to the middle class by preserving tax breaks for the wealthy—likely widening the wealth gap .
I’m urging you to:
1. Stand firm against this procedural vote that fast-tracks the bill without proper scrutiny.
2. Demand responsible offsets, not cuts to health or nutrition programs that millions depend on.
3. Support amendments to protect Medicaid, SNAP, and rural hospitals—programs that millions of middle- and lower-income Americans rely on.
As a middle-class constituent, I want leaders who prioritize real economic security—not borrowed bills and budget shell games.
Thank you for representing our interests over partisan headlines.
