Reverse the rule, don’t block mail-in ballots.
I urge you to immediately intervene to rescind the Postal Service’s new ballot-mail rule.
The Postal Service exists to collect, process, transport, and deliver the mail. It should never become a gatekeeper that prevents states from mailing ballots to eligible voters because election officials refuse or fail to comply with federal data demands – especially when the demands are almost certainly illegal.
This rule risks disenfranchising millions of voters across the country by using a “verified citizenship” list created in part by the Department of Homeland Security. USPS cannot allow itself to become a pawn in legitimizing the false flag of election security.
Election officials in Texas and Missouri have already found the DHS’s databases are inaccurate and flawed, repeatedly misidentifying people, setting up a system that could block millions of mail-in ballots across the country. In Boone County, Missouri, more than half of the voters initially flagged as ineligible turned out to be eligible and Texas election officials have uncovered errors across dozens of counties.
You selected David Steiner to serve as Postmaster General. You have a responsibility to ensure that he protects the Postal Service’s public mission instead of transforming USPS into an instrument for federal interference in state elections.
Withdraw the rule. Protect the independence of the Postal Service. Make clear that USPS will deliver lawful election mail without political interference. Take action to stop this before it’s too late.
