No construction for ANY reason in Big Bend National Park
To: Rep. Kean
From: A constituent in Lambertville, NJ
August 18
I’m thrilled to hear that construction activity at Big Bend National Park (https://substack.com/redirect/3b40203a-6c26-40dc-81e1-44101802e4ea?j=eyJ1IjoiNm1seXYifQ.otOmJiKbuVjJchpYlNRHfEdUeScpGrrwie9zwfsSQuI) has temporarily paused, but that pause needs to be made permanent. There can be no border wall or any construction at Big Bend park, and the money that was allocated for that project needs to come back to the American taxpayers. We are watching this closely; we are tired of Trump’s corruption and self-dealing, we’re tired of his destroying our wild spaces, and we’re tired of him spending our tax dollars to enrich his buddies. Make it stop! i *think* you care about the environment and know that this particular action does not benefit security—and generally we need to protect our environment and have very high standards on that. Thanks.
