I am deeply alarmed about DOGE’s attacks on the Social Security Administration. The former Commissioner is saying we’re going to see the system collapse and an interruption of benefits within the next 30 to 90 days. This is an emergency! Musk and Trump want to privatize Social Security so they’re hollowing it out from the inside. Stop them, now. I expect the Congressman to make this a top priority. I care about this deeply because I am disabled and cannot work, and without SSI, I will be homeless. I also have elderly family members that depend on SSI and retirement benefits to keep a roof over their heads and their utilities on. This has gone way too far and your constituents will suffer if this isn’t stopped.
