As a registered voter in Durham, North Carolina, I am concerned with what the Republican legislature is doing! Stripping powers of our incoming governor AG and Lieutenant governor is despicable and shameful! Is there a possibility that when the new Governor Stein is signed into office that these bills that are being passed can be reversed? Can they be taken to the Supreme Court of North Carolina and get reversed because in my opinion, they are an unconstitutional power grab! The Republican legislature needs to be held accountable for thwarting the voters of North Carolina! Democrats were voted into these positions for a reason! The voters have spoken, and the Republican legislature to do what they are doing is shameful! Please do everything in your power to reverse these bills as they are childish, and irresponsible and do not help with relief efforts in western North Carolina, and take unnecessary power away from Democrats, who were voted in by the people of North Carolina!
