The Republicans must stop lying by saying the government shutdown and hence the long TSA lines are the Democrats' fault. The Republicans control all 3 branches of government. It is not the Democrats' fault, or the American people's fault, that the Republicans can't come together and work for the best interest of our country as a whole. It is not the Democrats' fault that the Republicans are dysfunctional and unable to pass an agenda. Republicans have had every chance to fund TSA and keep airports running but they chose not to. The Democrats are holding strong because they refuse to rubber stamp more money for an agency that's tearing families apart and operating outside of the law. The TSA workers don't have to go unpaid and lines for TSA don't have to stretch on for hours. But the Republicans are holding TSA workers and travelers hostage so ICE can expand its terrorization of American communities. And the Republicans have the gall to blame the Democrats for the TSA problems. It's not the Democrats' shutdown, it's the Republicans. And the American people know it. So Senators, please stop responding to me that the Democrats own the shutdown. They do not. It is all on the Republicans.
