I urge you to use your voice to condemn the pardoning of violent criminals who attacked police and broke into the capitol building: smashing windows, spreading feces on the walls, using tasers and bats and flag poles to beat police officers who were swarmed and fighting to protect you and all of Congress. The pardons were a tragic insult to the family of Brian Sicknick and to the families of the officers who took their lives after suffering physical and emotional traumas. What a travesty and an undermining of the rule of law. It is a disgrace and a blow to those who have literally signed up to sacrifice themselves for your safety. Have courage. Use your voice.
