Hakeem Jeffries said we don’t want to “get even” in January when Democrats control the House of Representatives. That statement makes me doubt his suitability as Speaker of the House. For him to even think this was a matter of “getting even” is idiocy. It is imperative that our Congress be made up of honest men, not criminals. It is imperative that we have a President of the United States who is an honest man - not a crook. If any criminal activity is suspected by the Dept. Of War, the DOJ, by ICE, by Congressmen, and by the President of the United States, those activities must be investigated and, if crime has been committed, the criminal(s) must be held accountable. So no more words like “getting even” from Hakeem Jeffries. Have someone else serve as Speaker of the House if he fails to insist that all politicians and their underlings be kept accountable for the crimes that they commit. No man or woman should be above the law, no matter who they are.
