Do not allow Trump to hold this country hostage. Do the job you were elected to: Uphold your oath to the Constitution and provide checks and balances on the executive branch. If the Republicans actually did their jobs the government would be open. Instead, Trump is using threats and temper tantrums to try to get his way. The Republicans had a deal to work with the Democrats and the government could have opened yesterday, but Trump stepped in and threw a fit and instead the government is still shut down, TSA, the Coast Guard, and FEMA aren't getting paid, and Trump's brown shirted thugs are walking around the airports for no reason. Trump is threatening Republicans to pass the SAVE Act so the government can open. That's not the way a functioning government works. And you both know that. Your constituents expect you to vote no on the SAVE Act. The SAVE Act is unconstitutional and illegal, it is voter suppression and a poll tax. We expect you to work with the Democrats to open the government without listening to Trump's threats and bullying. Do your jobs. It's just not that difficult to do your jobs. It is time for you to work for the country instead of against it. It is time for you to uphold your ose to the Constitution and provide checks and balances on Trump. Open the government. Vote no on the SAVE Act.
